i've had weather techs in my previous taco, and have the huskies in my current, after having both i think the WT's are over priced for what they do since you can find a similar product that accomplished the same thing ( huskies) the Wt's are far to rigid for my taste and have small spikes under them to hold them in place, yes cool but when the sun is going down and you're trying to hurry not a fun time...huskies are rigid enough to not move but soft enough to add some support to your heel while driving...just my .02

I had WeatherTechs in my Tundra, and when a 24oz. beer broke, from flying off my passenger seat, not a drop of it ended up on my carpet. For that reason I went with WeatherTech in my Tacoma.
    - I haven’t had any experiences with other brands, so I have no input there.

I really like mine. I think overall for a product that will keep your carpet looking pristine for the life of the truck their price tag is reasonable.

Because the carpet in these truck sucks (especially considering the price of the truck LOL)

I know they can be cleaned, i just havent figured out how. I also tried my hardest to get them back to like new black color and always had a small tinge to them. I brought my truck to a body shop and they detailed for me afterwards. They got them to the original condition, but i havent been back there to ask what they used.

If you plan on getting your feet muddy and wet then yes.
    Otherwise not needed.

I have Huskys. Weathertech's to me get a little slick when wet.

Here’s another vote for Weathertech. I can only compare to the Toyota OEM but the WT is easier to clean and molded to stay put.
Yes, they are more expensive but Are they worth it? Yes!

I had Husky liners - they didn't quite last five years. Wore a hole through and they were curling up on the edges pretty badly. But they warrantied them

I jumped in on the group buy for Weather Techs and we'll see how they do. And another local Tacoma owner got a good deal on a set of new Huskys.

I'm a welder in sawmills and Weathertechs or Huskys have lived in my last 4 trucks. You can't go wrong with either.
For cleaning Weathertechs try Simple Green. Cleans them right up

I bought these. And they blow huskys and WTs out the water. Yes, I have owned both. The Husky are in my 4Runner. These are in my Taco.

Tired this, no luck. The finish helps to darken the color, but imbedded dirt is still there.

I had WT in a different vehicle and thought the liners were slippery, hard, and didn't fit very well.
I have Husky Xact liners in the Tacoma and they are superior to the WT since they don't slide, not slippery and a great fit.

When the mats get really bad soak 'em in a tub of hot water, Dawn and Oxi-Clean aka sodium percarbonate. Then brush or pressure wash.
