Nothing set in stone yet and I'm not trading out of the Taco but I just put a deposit on one of these:

In that exact color too. I said I was hellbent on a blue car someday dammit! :D

I hadn't looked at Honda in a long, long time and they impressed me with the Si. It's a hell of a bargain for what you get, the tech this thing has is so cool. Totally appeals to the Gran Turismo kid in me with all the info displays of boost gauge, brake pressure, g meter, and whatnot. 28/38 MPG and 200 horsepower in a sedan with ample space for a beanpole like me, also weighing in at just under 3000 pounds. Adaptive suspension, the works. I'm not completely in love with the way it looks but, it's certainly better looking than most sedans out there, at least to my eye.

Also means I can stop trying to shoehorn the Taco into the DD role.:anonymous:

Got a bunch of work done on my truck over the weekend:
    • New grease-able MOOG lower ball joints pressed in
    • New CV axles swapped in (keeping OEM ones to re-boot)
    • ECGS bushing installed
    • Front and rear differentials installed with 4.56 gears set up by @ZUK
Took it in for an alignment today and can’t wait till the new ring & pinions are broken in!
    :yay:

Here is my truck right after the alignment today:

CV axle’s: OEM vs. new Rock Auto “Heavy Duty”... we’ll see how long they last (the boots). Going to re-boot the OEM ones that lasted nearly 140,000 miles (~70,000 mi. w/ lift)

Getting the tube assembly back on. I wasn’t looking forward to putting this back in because it was a b!tch to get out... but it turned out to not be as bad as I built it up to be in my head.

If the taco isn’t a DD, then what do you make a 2wd 4cyl? A paper weight for your driveway?

After 3.5 months, 2 formal appeals and finally a complaint to the head of claims which prompted an independent doctors review my accidental injury policy finally paid my claim for my torn tendon and ruptured ligament in my ankle. I'd like to say they finally agreed that blowing out an ankle backpacking was accidental but they stuck to their guns the entire time. Sadly this was not a case of logic and common sense prevailing.

What were they arguing it was if it wasn’t accidental? Not like you tried collecting cash and not getting the surgery.

First was the billing and coding was not marked as accident. That part was my bad I always thought that question on doctors forms was if you were in an auto accident or workers comp loss and there was going to be a different payor than your primary health insurance. I had that fixed and resubmitted the billing/coding form from surgery. That prompted denial # 2 they said because the doctors notes said ankle gave out while tying shoe it was therefore not accidental. They completely skipped over the part on the statement that said a couple weeks previously I had rolled it on a rock. Either way something traumatic has to happen to fully tear a tendon and rupture a ligament. The entire thing was a farce really.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Looking for a campsite, but can not remember the name of it or where it was at:

    -NPS or NF land
    -Has a lake
-Has camping and small cabin rentals.
    -Northern half of AZ
-I thought it was West of I17, but can't remember.

Sorry, was a little inebriated when I first found it on google.

Take out the whole section of rear doors and bring the tail forward. Could look like a newer CR-X. Being a fun little turbo car would be way better than the CR-Z they tried as a hybrid commuter.

Looks good. I have the same lights waiting to go on. I've had them for about a year. Just need a shorter list of excuses.
