    Hello fellow heads

Curious if anyway knew what this mt compartment was for, or a suggestion for an insert of some sort?

    Cheers

It originally came with a sunglass holder...or was it the compass temp display???

In any case, if it’s hinged and swings down, most likely it came with a sunglass holder that’s been removed.

Ding ding ding! Hence the tape. stick it up there, close it up and tap the compartment door to activate your opener. (making sure the bottons on the remote are lined up to be pressed by those three pegs in the center)

Do you think it would be difficult to install an oem temp/ compass module ? Assuming it's not wired for it

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
Those 4 squares off to the sides are spacers to adjust how far you have to push the button when it's closed.

So it looks like like you can install the compass and temp sensor module, but! You need to run 2 wires for the sensor to function
