...After catching our breaths and with our stomachs satisfied, it didn't take long for us to look for just the right place to try to capture Druid Arch. With the sun behind it, we weren't sure if we could even capture the grandeur, but we experimented with various exposures and settings and hoped for the best.

My guess is that when nature looks like this, it's hard to end up with something unusable.

Read it all and check out the photos in Ruining Around Utah 2 - Don't Miss Druid Arch

Same I went OEM when I did my OEM rack. Ordered 555's for trail spares.

Yup. Or not armoring stuff right the first time. Like my smashed gas tank.

Any advice for a guy getting ready to put that Total Chaos slug adapter into my spindles? I have ball joint service kit that I’m going to use for the first time. Hopefully that works.

Put the slugs in the freezer over night. It'll help a bit but that ball joint service kit should also work. That's what I used

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I froze mine and almost could put them in by hand.

I can't remember if my went in that easy but it was a lot easier than I thought with freezing them. For some reason all the "write-ups" and stuff I looked at never mentioned doing that so they all had a harder time.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Question.

I'm running 5100s with ToyTec 620# springs. It gave me 2.75 inch lift (or so) before I added bumper and winch. Since adding the bumper/winch I've lost around .5 inch.

I'm thinking about adding .25 spacers to get that .5 inch back.

Is there something I'm overlooking as to why this is a bad idea?

yes. 2'' of lift is ideal for our suspension setups. Your CVs should be at a nice angle now. You'll have good up and down travel.

Lol... Dammit... I know you're right. But I was hoping someone would tell me hell ya "send it, you're good."

My CV angles are, in fact, good right now. I should probably just leave it alone till I go coilover.

I am having a little bit of an issue with rubbing with the 285s (I run 1.25 spacers) but I cut some more of the flare (that eliminated rub on flat ground altogether) and I know I have more caster I can get, to solve it on compression. (My UCAs are currently set at 0°)

    yeah I'd leave.

Most castor will make it rub more as it pushes the wheel into the fire wall.

That said, adding castor in the UCA means you don't need it in the LCA so it might work out good. I would certainly add some to the UCAs.

Adding "Castor" will just make it slippery. ;)
