Oh what the bloody hell... seriously? thought you had that crap over with when you switched out your dakars. So check this - not sure if you saw it - might be one way to go rather than pulling the pack and the bushings.

I know the squeaking is coming from that damn AAL since no friction pads on the AAL. Need to order some of this stuff and give it a try.

It's not the leafs themselves that are making noise, something in the main eye is clunking like mad on the passenger side. Bolt is torqued, bushings are greased...only thing I haven't done is pull the bolt out and check to see if maybe one of the new Daystar bushings bit the dust or something. But it clunks bad whenever the truck moves around. If I lay on my back and push up on my sliders I can recreate it pretty easily, so I know it's coming from there.

I should be able to pull out that bolt and check the bushings without having to take apart the shackles or u-bolts, might be kind of a pain to line it back up afterward but I'll give it a go.

I'm just totally shocked, I called LCE asking about their valve cover and I got a person on the first damn ring.

    Well done, LCE.

Welp, hearing @eon_blue talk about fixing his noisy leaf springs, I just coughed up the money to fix mine once and for all. Goodbye LowRange AALs, you loved making yourselves known. Ordered a Wheelers 1.5" spring set to replace them with. And these include the anti squeak pads. They should also drop me down a bit to hopefully level with the 880's more.

Atturo is the official brand of mall crawler tires. Especially if they cant afford KO2's.

Are the anti-squeak pads those Teflon ones? I've heard they rip after any kind of flex.

I'm here to remind everyone what not to do when dealing with leaf springs lol. I should've just ordered a custom Alcan pack way back in the beginning.

Those are what my Expos have. My leafs themselves never squeak or make a peep, on that note they're way better than the Dakars were. It's just this stupid clunking coming from the eye.

There is a few options. The ones people install on leafs that dont have the pads built in those tend to rip and fall out. Some aal have holes drilled in them and pads pressed in. Those dont fall out
