    Well I only did one day but that was one day too long. But I didn't do anything to deserve it anyway. (Yeah I know, everyone in the bighouse is innocent) I was living in Texas but my employer was based in Missouri. They were taking child support payments out of my check, sending them to the Texas DA's office. Somehow they got their wires crossed and suspended my license for non-payment. I was a truck driver so I had to drive anyway. I get stopped in a DUI random check and get hauled in and put in the county jail holding cell. For driving on suspended license, not DUI.

    There was this big, mean looking guy going around taking stuff from everybody he could. Shoes, jackets, whatever. I knew my boss had already paid my bail and I was just a few hours from getting out so I got smartass with the dude and told him I'd be keeping my thermal undershirt. Next thing I know they are lining us up to shower and change into jumpsuits to be transferred to general population. I'm like ...uhhh my bail has been paid. They couldn't find the paperwork so I end up spending the night. I was sweating meeting up with the big dude again but I guess he was sent to a different area. That was the longest night of my life. I haven't even jaywalked since then.
