I am not really one who likes to race other people, nor do I do it at all. I just like to hot rod here and there, but today some new Charger SRT8 got his nuts smoked by me.

He heard me revving for my brother who just wanted to hear what the blower sounded like.. we exit the parking lot to get going and I get to the light at the freeway then next thing I know I'm right next to him. I hear his hot stuff exhaust revving up as we get some free space, I think to myself, "yeah he wants it, okay, let's do it." I slam down the blower full throttle and proceed to smoke his nuts until we ran out of space. He got so salty over it that he continued to weave in and out of lanes just to get ahead, didn't even look my way.

I catch up to him later, give him a smile and proceed to throw a few revs his way to let him know what the loss sounds like as he exits and that was that. :D

Good eye! I didn't even think of looking at that.

That is my next step, but that still wont tell me if it is a bearing or the snout coupler itself.

Today it was dead silent.. not a peep out of it at idle and I drove a lot today. Really odd.

They looked a little too clean to be used so I checked that and assumed they were new.

Believe it or not the iridiums only have around 10 ft on them. Ruthenium are new.

Also found out I’ve been under torqueing my spark plugs a lot. Never had an issue though.

I've never worried about torquing spark plugs, ever. Torque values (unless internal engine parts related) are for cheerleaders.

I usually just hand tighten till it stops then just use a small ratchet and snug it down. This time out of curiosity I used my tiny torque wrench and set it to 150 in lbs which is still under factory specs. It tightened them well above and beyond what I usually do.

150? Really. Aren’t the lug nuts something like 85?

    Edit: oh. In/lbs, not ft/lbs.

Hey guys, so I sent my supercharger to get rebuilt by Superchargers Online (Magnuson authorized service center).

Thinking about upgrading the pulley since the whole unit is off the truck. What's a good upgrade? Right now it's a basic TRD supercharger that was purchased and installed by the dealership, so it has the TRD tune from factory. With me wanting to upgrade the pulley, do I need a new tune?

Should I consider upgrading anything else?

This is not horrible advice, but we need to know more before we can proceed with giving him stable advice.

We need to know if he has an auto. If he does. He will need a 2.5 ALONG WITH a fuel pump upgrade, a new serpentine belt (preferably green fleetrunner) and a valve body upgrade if he is an auto. If he goes with a 2.5 without a pump or a valve body upgrade (assuming he is auto) he will fry his engine and his transmission in the process.

If he is manual... clutch, along with all that other junk that manual dudes need which fry within 50k of installing it anyway. ;)

    AEM 320 green pump
