Heck, I was out in about an hour. Was trying to straddle some ruts and fell in one side. When/where do you guys have mod days? What do you do at them?

Oh. I see. So you guys just get together and hang out in the garage and stuff. Help each other work on there vehicles. That's pretty cool. Wish I woulda know about that before I attempted to put my locker in last weekend. Sheesh, what a nitemare. None of my buddy's show up and I have no air compressor or impact stuff. I think it took me like 8 hrs with hand tools and I had never done anything like that before and have only basic mechanical experience. I did it though and I learned alot rather than turning it over to clemson 4x4 and not learning anything. Count me in on the next one and let me know what to bring.

Ouch. Thats pretty funny though. Reminds me of last year when my brother said he just wanted money for Christmas because he wanted to do some mods on his truck. I went to the bank and got $200 in pennies and wrapped the cases.

Why don't we just set up a mod day. Pool some money together and get strippers to come over for moral support and to hand us tools while were modding. I can throw a bill in. :)

That's funny and reminds me of a story when I was really young.
Christmas time somewhere around 1976 or so I woke up to see a present by the tree. It was a wrapped box about 6 ft high.( it was a refridge box).

Anyway, It was Christmas at my granparents and I was like 9 yrs old.
So I am totally freaking out about my present from my gram and granpa. What could this possibly 6 ft behemoth of a box be??
    Was it a snowmobile?
    Was it a jon boat?
Was it Marry anne from gilligans island?

    I unwrapped the box..........
Inside this 6ft tall, 3ft wide box was.........30 other boxes all wrapped in Christmas paper with bows and ribbons. I unwrapped each and every box all the way down to a box the size of a matchbox car. At which time thats what I thought it was. The box was empty.
My Granpa told me to go thru all the wrapping paper and all the boxes once again that my present was in there.
After what seemed like an eternity I found something.
It was a penny taped to the inside of a piece of wrapping paper.

At the time when I was young, I collected stamps and that got boring so I switched to coin collecting.

    The penny was a 1909 vdb "s"
I still have it. They made very few of them and this run actually carried the diemakers initials. "vdb" and the "s" was even rarer. Not sure what its worth bt I think last time I checked it was about $5k or so.
Neat story and something that will stay with me forever from almost 35 yrs ago.
