    They make a coupe version of it, but I chose the sedan because I wanted the extra room.

    It’s quick but not anything crazy. About the same beans as my GTI from many years ago. My WRX was definitely faster but this little 1.5 has a crazy wide powerband.

    Got around to finishing my fire extinguisher mount. I don’t really use the back seat but imagine this would be practical for ACs as well. $30 in hardware and 10 minutes to install. Rock solid, and it takes the rattle out of my headrests! As for safety, my last setup on my 4Runner easily survived the impact of a 50mph T-Bone collision.     I got the quick fist mounts at sportsman’s warehouse but you can also find them elsewhere. Got the hardware at my local ace hardware. Hardware sizes will differ based on your seat design, but you’ll need 2 threaded shaft collars to go around the headrest posts. I wrapped the post with electric tape for a snug fit and to prevent the bolt end from digging directly into the post finish. I’d also recommend some thread locker. The rest of the process is just finding the correct bolt length. For spacers, you can use metal ones like I did, or 1/4” ID rubber fuel line.
