One mileage discrepancy, but probabl because of a typo

 

I guess stuff like that doesnt happen to me because Id lose my shit and end up on the news.

 

I wanted to, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized it gets me nowhere. I just now warn others and move on. I’ve been fucked multiple times by shops. I know who won’t fuck me, and Tandem will get all my business from now on.

 

How did they damage your wheels doing a CMC?

 

maybe making a quick run to my local aldi...

 

I bought new tires through them and did a CMC (from a 275 to a 285). I had two chips on my wheels previously, they lumped all the damage together claiming it was like that. I’m not a dishonest person. I’d never lie about shit like that. When I presented the damage to them the day of pickup they said just let us know and we can work it out. I sent a message later on asking what the route would be to get it addressed and they were willing to redo the wheels on my dime...I didn’t create the issue. Saving a few bucks cost me more. I’ll only go to my guy in Frisco from now on and pay more for tires with the guarantee that they won’t fuck my powder coat up. I kept all photos of the damage. It’s clear it was caused my dismounting and mounting tires.

 

And the CMC was basically them grinding down some of the area on my cab mount. They didn’t recess it. After that I didn’t even give them a chance to make it right. I just took it to Tandem and had them do it correctly. Wasn’t worth the hassle. It rubbed hard as shit from day one leaving my driveway. Once I knew they didn’t care about the wheels, I wasn’t taking the truck back to them.

I can not, and do not recommend them at all. Buyer beware. If you had a good experience that’s great. My neighbor uses them for work so I decided to give them a try as I live close by and woke even closer. Never again!

 

I think she will be alright....

I’m in San Sebastián. Hopefully my truck will be alright, but there is nothing I can do from here for my truck nor my wife’s car.

I lucked out, cause my neighbors are out of town. My Tacoma and my daughters car are parked in their garage. My wife's FJ and my other daughter's car are parked in my garage.

 

Im up in Denton and still no hail/rain, has anyone had hail yet?
