Weird spot to see a rust hole like that, compared to where they normally pop up anyway. I don't see why they won't cover you under the warranty assuming your family got the frame coated and treated back before 2011 or something like that.

Theres no hole though. Screwdriver wouldnt bust through and I was smacking it pretty hard. It was coated in 2010 so it would qualify if they can get it to bust through.

I guess it only formed there cause its literally the only spot on the frame where it wasnt coated by Toyota.

Ah yeah the pic makes it look like there's a hole where the crack is but maybe it's just shadow. If it were me I'd try and see if I could get a hole to poke through before taking it in because you Toyota will probably just tap it once or twice and call it good. Don't force a hole of course but you get what I mean lol.

Not a pro by any means but I'll reply -

Cross SAI is barely off but everything else is within factory spec. Is their a specific goal you were shooting for? Is everything stock? How's the road crowning in your area?

    3” lift. Sway a ways 2.5 on 285 75 16 and much more
goal is for truck to drive straight lol.
Its got a lift on 33s. Im getting a slight vibration from driver side wheel, it seems to be less now after the alignment but I still feel it.
Thinking it might be a front wheel bearing that needs to be replaced.
As for the numbers I don't know what the tolerance are which is why I ask to see if its with in spec.

Before I go to town fluid filming again in a few weeks Im gonna hammer test this thing all around. Seeing this today has made me a bit sick to my stomach. I just hope I can find a place that will punch through.

Did you mention the vibration to the alignment tech? Could be a bunch of things... I could be wrong but they usually do an inspection of front suspension components prior to the alignment to be sure everything is good.

    Stock wheels?
    Stock UCAs?
    What lift?

Cross SAI is weird - according to your report, it was zero and now it's off. Maybe the tech jacked something... I have no idea. This might help a little -

Also, maybe @StAndrew can chime in on this. We were talking about UCAs earlier in the what have you done sticky. I get the sense he knows much more bout alignments than I do

Surface scaling is what it appears to be, for now at least. That spot took several whacks with a screwdriver and a ball pien just fine.

After seeing how my dads truck rusted out, Im pretty concerned. A tiny spot was quicker to rot through than the large spot right next to it. 0411191942.jpg
That entire spot can be covered by my thumb. And the frame was wire brushed and painted in 2016.
