There are so many different variations of these horns from over the years they will all sound different. Sound quality is also heavily affected by proper grounding, how “clean” the 12v power source is, as well as how the individual horn were manufactured.

I test every single horn before I sandblast them, and after primer and paint before they are packed.

When they are all put together, they will sound far different than just one or two put together.

Think of it as if you were listening to Beethoven’s Ninth with only one instrument at a time.

Thanks so much for these awesome horns. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The install was pretty painless too!! I used a spacer on the two on the drivers side and everything fit into place great!

Trying to decide which setup would work best on a 4th gen 4Runner

Not my picture... found elsewhere. It looks like Tier 2, Setup #1 would work on this vehicle, yes?

If I were you, I'd drill an additional hole on the lefthand side nearest to the hood latch. You already have what appears to be a tapped M6 hole which my horns will bolt up to on the far right. Re-use the holes for the stock horns.

Make sure you stick around, I only offer two of those per group buy and they always sell out first.

Thanks @BartMaster1234. I finished my install the other day and I'm really liking it. It sounds much more like "MOVE!!!!" instead of the factory 'ahem, excuse me'.

The change in sound was worth the money to me. I do wish it was just a bit louder but it is still louder that the factory ones and so much better sounding.

Exactly my thoughts on my first buy. Gotta get yourself into that The El Dorado configuration, kind sir. Haha!

I have to give up four sets of the Park Avenue to make the El Dorado sets. I only have so many sets to go around that I only limit it to two El Dorado sets per group buy.

At the end of the day, I’m trying to get as many sets to as many people as I could.
