Yeah seems like a weird restriction lol. I'm sure it's a generalization, there's probably an exact limited measurement

 

I helped some people from Cali today, they were mind blown and scared of the auto blades

 

Well i think its a actual inch size but idk it. Rule of tumb i was taught was if its wide then your palm its probably illegal

 

You can buy them at hella places but its not legal to carry

 

I keep a 8" fixed blade next to my center console, never really thought to check if it was legal or not. Oh well.

 

Wild.... I carry a 3" fold out on me at all times and have a 6" fixed blade in my truck at all times. 3" is the max we are allowed to have on campus

 

I’m gonna have to check out my campuses rules, I don’t carry so it’s not a big deal but it’s still interesting

 

If a cop sees that he might treat you like shit

 

I have a friend that works for SOG that probably has all of that info for states in a pamphlet or a tiny paper. Maybe he'll send it if I ask nicely. I dunno what WA's rules are on knives but I imagine they aren't strict given what they sell

I never used to carry a knife until a couple years ago, now I never go anywhere without it clipped on my pocket. It's crazy how many day to day uses I find for it that I never really thought about before.
Luckily since I work in a photo studio no one really thinks to question it at work, or at least no one has brought it up yet lol.

 

Yeah we were told during our freshman year when we all lived in dorms. 3" max blade although they never really check it as long as you aren't being stupid about it

Same here. Didn't carry until 2-3 months ago. I use that thing for everything from a screwdriver to a prybar

 

If I get pulled over I plan on making it known that I have a knife in the truck, don't think it'll be all that surprising in an offroad vehicle

 

Cops atleast around here are quick to pull a gun if they see any weapons

Yep, me too. I have to sharpen it every week as a result. My brother in law got me a Spyderco knife sharpening kit for xmas a couple years ago, works really well

 

Look into outdoor edge knives, never need to sharpen
