My first ticket was a rough one. 73 in a 40 and I was nose down slamming on the breaks in a Nissan Armada... Could have been arrested for wreckless. Cop called my parents and knew I was fucked when I got home. Wrote me at 65 in a 40 since anything 26+ is considered wreckless. I deferred the ticket to keep it off my record. Second ticket was in my truck and I was cruising with traffic and got singled out for 52 in a 40. Deferred that one too.

My first ticket was when I was 16, I was so terrified to tell my mom that I put it off for days but knew she'd find out eventually. She was PISSED

Since I was a minor I had to go before a judge in court with my father there with me, the judge called me up and I addressed him as 'sir' and he immediately goes "SIR?!? You don't call me 'sir', you call HIM sir!" and he pointed at my dad. I'll never forget that lol.

Good god, the cops here are really lax. Speed limit is 65 on interstates but everyone is cruising at 75 average. The CHP will be cruising alongside you at the same speed without a care in the world.

Meanwhile, when I was in Mississippi I didn't dare going 3-4 miles over the speed limit. The troopers out there are ruthless.

So lucky I just had to pay my $350 and sign saying I would get a ticket for a year and if I did I had X repercussions. I didn't tell my mom about the second one but I told my dad after 8 months lol. My mom found out while running a damn background check on my brother to make sure he hadn't gotten in trouble for some shit and was hiding it from her.

Luckily for me the Tacoma doesn't go fast enough to get a speeding ticket in.

Once you install that supercharger it'll be almost fast enough to get a ticket

Oh on the interstate/highway I'll go 80 in a 55. My tickets were on city streets at busy times during school hours but I was not in a school zone just close to the schools. Not proud of em. I have managed to talk my way out of a couple tickets thankfully.

What do you do? I can't imagine being able to afford a house at 22.

It should be ready tomorrow, I'm going to order up that LCE valve cover and some new gaskets to do a light top end refresh and hopefully have it on within the month.

I am a project engineer for a general contractor. I do not engineer stuff though. I am a glorified paperwork handler right now but I occasionally help with estimating. I actually helped estimate a job in Huntington Beach last summer.
