Construction Management. Eventually I work my way into estimator and/or project manager. It is a lot of fun and I get to be a part of some really cool projects that change how towns completely work which is rewarding.

 

homeless encampments everywhere today. Bakersfield is horrible. Water is poo - high levels (33x higher) of Chromium 6 - that's the stuff that Erin Brokovich went ape over and won. Kern county unemployment rate was nearly 8% this time last year. I'd still pass. Nothing out there at all except agriculture. When water supply starts to become an issue again - and it will, to think otherwise is foolish - watch how that local economy starts to tank (again). hard pass.

@eon_blue - stockton might not be the best choice but at least you could attend all the frequent mod days in the 209 that Matt puts on. much closer to tahoe as well!
