    I use the sport mode. In town I put it in 4th and out on the highway I use 5th. I don't use 6th gear.

    I’m waiting on a set of 5.71 gears for the rear, I’ll let you know how it turns out.

    It's going to boogie! :burnrubber: Any chance you could do a timed before/after pull, like 5-60mph?

    You'll still have plenty of gearing in 5th & 6th, 2,500rpm will be aprox 70mph in 6th.

    I do same ,and even then if I have a mountain or long grade to climb hit the ect button.truck jumps into action pretty fast!! 16 k miles in 14 months. this 2.7 NEEDS to be driven hard!! its a fucking tractor engine four huge pistons with some good torque use it. the guys with the standards rev the piss out of them so should us auto guys .dont drive the truck like its a big engine, you NEED to step on the gas pedal to get into torque curve the tranny is set up for!! do not watch tach or go by sound just drive it hard find sweet spots. I love mine.

    I just had the gear ratio calc. open... in theory, 5,200rpm (peak hp) in 6th would equate to aprox 149mph.

    5,200rpm:
    1= 24mph
    2= 41
    3= 58
    4= 86
    5= 125
    6= 149

    I don't need to drive mine hard on flat city streets 1 mile to Walmart or the laundry mat. Mine gets me from point A to point B just fine.

    It’s always nice to stop at the Grande Denali Hotel. That’s the Parks Highway and the entrance to Denali National Park below.

    Anybody having issues with the stock SR headunit? My phone (iPhone 8) will connect almost immediately when I get in the truck. I can make and receive calls but Spotify will not work. I have to go into the settings menu on my phone and select my truck multiple times to get the connection to a point that I can play music. Even once I can get a song to play its a 50/50 shot on the song playing normally or in fast forward. I have reset the phone, broke the connection and started over but nothing seems to totally work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I’ve actually had an issue where I will just finish a call on Bluetooth and it will disconnect my phone when I hang up. But my iTunes works great and connects fine. Are you connected as just a phone or media and phone? That may be a problem?

    The SR5 doesn't make sense anymore then, because it comes in a 6 speed automatic also, not just a 5 speed manual anymore.....
