I go on a creek near my house... no need for that. Plus coolers of alcohol are on board. No one bothers us. Now if I took it out on the river it would be a different story.

Last time I went kayaking, I'm paddling down the river when I see my nephew, his family and friends. They are all lying out on inner tubes just drinking beer and stuff. They wave me over to join them and offer to share their liquid refreshments, which I of course accepted. I ended up falling asleep and drifting downriver until I hit the dam. Knocking a big chunk out of the bow. Then I strapped it down too tight on the roof rack and the straps sawed another big crack. I don't trust it too much anymore.

 

River kayaking people around here stay close to the bank.

Hulu and Netflix are utilized the most, but we use Amazon to buy movies that are keepers. Helps with the kids on long trips too.

 

They were given to me several years ago

 

I was on the Pecos River. It's a wide lazy river with no rapids or anything. You can stand up in a kayak and fish without too much trouble.

 

A group of us went on a buddies pontoon boat down river to a restaurant. 0f course there was a lot of drinking going. On fast forward they had to take me to the boat because I was puking and passed out in the restaurant yard(Not one of my finer moments) Keep in mind I poured 110 yards of concrete in the blazing sun and no time for lunch that day. Pontoon owner was making me White Russians before we went to eat. Anyway, we get back to his house everybody gets off the boat for a bonfire they and leave me on because I was passed out . Boat owner forgot to lift the boat so it starts floating down river and nobody noticed for awhile. I’m still passed out. It was pitch black out when they finally noticed they had to go house to house trying to wake somebody up to get their boat to come and get me .
