We still have kids in 4th / 5th grade that can't count money. Come in to the book fair, pull down a 8 dollar book and then lay 5 dollars on the counter, not understanding that 5 does not equal 8 and they can't buy the book.

Yep, now the kids I work with would have argued and started fucking shit up in that situation. In fact, just this year, I was at the book fair with a student and their parent, kid starts freaking out they want more than what they have money for (like a buck), parent is there with open wallet in about 2 seconds flat.

Anyone who has owned (has BEEN owned by) a Siamese cat...
...can easily come up with their own list off the top of their heads:

    siamese.jpg

    1) Originated as temple cats in Siam (Thailand).
    Presumably to keep down rodents.
They probably weren't fed, making them earn their keep.
Like barn cats on family farms here, getting maybe milk tank rinsings and bone meal, at most.

    2) They're exceptional hunters/ killers. And how.
They were bred for it. See above.

    3) They're generous. They'll give you presents. :)
    Again, see above.

    4) They're very sociable with their humans.
They'll sleep with you and seek to share your meals.
Or anything else you have. They own you.

    5) They're very vocal with their humans. Some people do not like this. :lalala:
Cat's don't meow much to each other, communicating via body language, scents, etc.
When your cats meows, it's saying: HEY YOU!.
    So pay attention.
    Siamese are exceptionally talkative.

    6) They're naughty. Deliberately.
    With malice aforethought.

    7) They like to climb curtains.
    Note: Don't buy expensive drapes.

    8) In the cat world, they're tops for jumping.
No place in your house is safe.

    9) They scratch stuff. Ask them to knock it off.
If you ask them nicely enough and often enough...they might.
Get them lots of toys and scratching posts.
Or kick them outside from time to time and say: Go blow the stink off, you little terrorist.
Don't declaw them. That's just mean.

    10) Never forget who's the Boss. :p

A few??? Get this...He’s the one that said to boat owner. “ hey your boats floating down river” while laughing thinking it’s funny! Boat owner yelled “Shauna’s in there!” Boat owner and my father in law were the ones to scramble and save me! ( my father in law loves me thank God!) Hubby couldn’t help on the ground laughing so hard! He forgot I was on there!!!

I'd offer to buy one but you probably live so far away it costs more to ship than buy a new one. Hell, everybody else does. I'm not near anything.

Yeah I had originally planned on going with a white sport A/T when I went to the dealership that day. But saw this one, loved the color, and M/T. And it was also about 2500 cheaper due to far less options which I liked.

Yep to almost all these. He loves to bring me mice and can jump from the floor to the top of the towel cabinet in the bathroom. His favorite sleeping spot. He also loves to jump down from it when a visitor is on the throne. That gives them a nice surprise. I got him from a rescue shelter and he was already de-balled and de-clawed. I wouldn't have done it myself. But at least he doesn't scratch the furniture.
