We had a Siamese-Hymalayan named Buster that was awesome. He didn't exhibit many of these traits, but he was a dick....and I liked that. We bonded.

When we had our pool reno'd, I had them set the pump and filter area up the way I wanted for easy access. It isn't enclosed at all. So, that makes it nice. The filter is MASSIVE though, and a bitch to replace sand. That's an all day job alone.

All new pvc plumbing though, and the chemicals work much more quickly now with the heater.

I couldn’t ever find a nice used SWB DCSB TRD off road with 4wd when I was looking for a truck, Found my ‘07 back in May of 2011 with just under 25k miles for a reasonable price with everything I wanted.the biggest must haves for me were 4wd and tow package. I wanted the DC and wanted the off road for some of the things it came with.

    @NunyaBizness

I bet you dated a big booty girl in high school that put out but wasnt that great, until after you all broke up. Then she became some sort of nympho.

Probably named Lindsey (or some variant of the spelling).

Yeah, I am not fond of sand filters. Take to long to clean/service. Mainly they are on fish ponds here. Environmental cali is trying to get rid of DE filters. Only cartridge will be available in 5 to 10 years.

    Okay, here's my boating mishap.
And I'm never doing THAT again:

The place: Susquehanna river at Marysville, PA
The time: Ain't telling. Just before I got hitched.

So me and my lovely, sainted and formidable bride-to-be decide to go fishing.
In a borrowed aluminum canoe with a full cooler of beer.
    (Hi @melikeymy beer )

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah.
So it's summer and the river is low, exposing the multitudes of boulders.
Mind you, the river is a mile wide there.
It's one continuous expanse of minor rapids flowing between all the boulders.

Now, I tried to instruct the lovely sainted and formidable Mrs-to-be Gritto on um...navigation.
You know, like which side to paddle on when you want to go a particular direction.

You can guess what's next, can't you? Yeah, I thought so.

We're shooting a rapid and she zigged when she shoulda zagged.
Canoe got stuck sideways in the current.
So I threw my paddle on the nearest flattish boulder and chunked my sweetie there as well.
Swam downstream to retrieve the cooler.
While being yelled at to let the fucking cooler go. :p
Don't worry Hon, I got the Mile Swim merit badge when I was in the Boy Sprouts!
Her paddle was floating away and was soon out of sight. Fuck it.
Lost the fish (smallmouth bass), lost the rods and tackle.
    So now what?

Long story short(ish), I worked at that goddamn canoe for, I dunno, an hour?
Counting all the times I had to get out and rest (beer).
Got it free finally and am floating downstream with it trying not to lose it.
Found a shallow patch and got my footing.
With one mighty heave, I turned the canoe and emptied it enough for it to not sink.
And bailed it out with my hat (yeah, still had it). That took a while.
    So I towed it back.

Mrs-to-be Gritto was very sunburned by this time.
And not at all happy with Yours Truly. :)

So we made it back to shore.
Did Mister Gritto get any thanks? :humble::humble::humble:

Oh, something like: Wow, you're such a manly man?
I'm so hot, lets do it right here. Right now.

    Did I?

    Points if you guess right.:p

I'm betting on no. Sunburned people aren't too eager to grab onto other people.
