I know it only solves one of those issues, but my girlfriend has a serious small bladder issue. I just constructed a funnel with a long tube that she can stick out the tent and pee into. If you're in a place that doesn't allow for urine on the ground, then you can stick the tube into a bucket or something.

lol oh trust me I've offered up some solutions but she's not into it. I'm not opposed to ground tenting, it will in fact be easier, I'm just wanting to sell the RTT before I get into buying anything.

Well hey, at least you have someone who will go camping with you! It just sucks you won't be able to look like the ultimate off-roader/"overlander" while driving to the grocery store. ;)

the wedge version they have is nice, just too short and a tiny bit narrow. Seems like the bigger one they're not coming back with even though they say they are.

I thought I'd be fine with mine on the truck 24/7 and that lasted about a week and I built a hoist to store it when not in use. I'm not sure how people drive around with exposed rotopax, hi lifts, and RTTs all the time. Those overlanding points must be mighty valuable somewhere

I wish I had a garage I could fit into or a hoist or something for my RTT, that's another pain in itself..

I bought a gantry from Northern tool and use it to hold the block and tackle set up to lift the RTT and bedrack off. Then it stays there until warmer weather when it goes back on.

That's a legit hotel room on your truck. Where's the fully tiled bathroom with shower included?

But children make it so much harder to afford said facilities!

I loooove to practice. My pull out game isn’t very strong since I have 2 kids but I like em. I think I’m gonna keep em!

On a serious note, children do make things slightly more difficult to afford goodies but the sacrifice is soooo worth it. I want a supercharger for my truck but have responsibilities to make sure my kids are taken care of so the money spent on the truck isn’t worth it. However, bringing my daughter wheeling and seeing her smile and have a ton of fun is worth more to me than enjoying a supercharger by myself. My opinion of course. Being a dad is the best thing that could ever happen to my life hands down
