I've used these a couple times for retrofitting wired connections / HDMI / Cat5 to new tv locations

I've seen them used a lot on YT videos and I like the recessed/clean look you get with them. Was thinking about building a gaming table for my wife and then I could make it very nice looking.

Had another question. Going to be building a garage storage/workbench thing at some point in the near future. Saw somewhere that you should build the platforms to sit on top of studs instead of being supported by screws? Is this correct? The top portion may have a decent amount of weight on it so I wanted to know. Going to be a mostly 2x4 construction. I have a sketch I'll share when I get home.

Maybe even its weight in Platinum! Very useful but like OZ said "not a be all end all".

They are nice. I have that one plus the face clamp. Not the end-all tool or naythin gbut nice to have around when you want to "hide" the screws instead of going through the face

Saw this door in the clearance rack yesterday, special order that was returned and therefore marked down.
After my employee discount it was $171.

Any lawn care specialists in here? Got some spots where leaves have killed all the grass leaving behind a nice dirt patch in several areas, including the side of the hill next to my driveway. Thus I have mud running onto the driveway anytime it rains. My neighbor does not take care of his yard and probably has 3 years of leaves rotting in his back yard.

Anyway. What seed is recommended for some quick regrowth? Also have a TON of weeds growing, some wildflowers, clovers, and some fern like stuff growing all over the yard.
What's the best time to seed, what kind of care does it need(watering etc).
I want the yard to look at least halfway decent, especially if we sell in 10-15 years.

Also plan to install a couple of raised bed gardens near the fence line and start a compost bin.

I'd post pictures but I'm pretty bad at remembering anything once I get home. Too much stuff to do. So I'll try.

Fall is the best time to plant. Ground will be warm from the summer and help germination. Grass seed type depends on what type of zone you are in.

not an expert but Ive used this for small patches...I know if you've got weeds you need to fertilize. Make sure if you use weed killers you do it before they flower otherwise you hurt the honeybees.

This for lawns. You want to hit the dandelions before they start to flower otherwise you can harm the honey bees.

Annual rye will come up quick and last the season. Do that now and reseed in the fall with a truf fescue. Leaves are great for soil when mulched but highly acidic so a lime treatment may go a long way to neutralizing the PH in the soil.

For weeds just do a good treatment of scotts weed and feed. Make sure the grass (weeds) is dewy/wet so the weed and feed sticks to the plant and dries on it.
