Yep. Or Albuquerque. There are literally more people in ABQ than the rest of the state combined. I went up there to buy my truck. I didn't see the attraction.

It would definitely help to decide when and how to take my Social Security and pension benefits.

I just realized I'll be camping in your neck of the woods in exactly one month. Cloudcroft area. Then it's a couple days ride to LA, then Las Vegas, then I dunno where because apparently everyone and their great aunt edna will be in southern Utah on memorial day.. Might need advice on that one.

Only if my time was up soon. My old company has tried to get me to take my pension lump sum many times.

Cloudcroft is nice. I always camp at Bluff Springs when I'm in that area. It has porta potties but no water or electricity. Nice little hiking trail to a waterfall. Great scenics. Cold at night. Even in May. I'm pretty familiar with the area so ask anything you need.

5100s/OME 888s. Dakar leaf pack. Total Chaos UCAs. DeMello Sliders. BAMF Recessed Grille. Prinsu Cabrack and Toprack.
Good choice. Mammoth has some great off-roading/camping and beautiful scenery. You could then return through Reno towards Northern Utah on the way home.

That and the actuaries calculate an amount that is less, based on present value, than the estimated actual liability.

I love San Raf area. Havent been since college. I'll start researching that.
Mammoth CA, or a mammoth I don't know about? I should head in an approximate easterly direction after vegas, because I eventually need to return to work, and stuff. Sierras are on the definite future list.

I'll check out that area. The little camper has dual batteries and a full water tank. I can survive :D

Damn you for reminding me that place exists. I drove through in the work truck years ago, I remember really wanting to stop at mono lake and hang out. I might have to work it in for next years trip, somehow.

About 200 miles. That's in the area I go to a lot though. Closest place worth camping in or exploring. There's literally nothing anywhere close to me. I'm up on the "Llano Estacado". A huge flat treeless mesa. :tumbleweed:

    Dammit...

Delos just announced that they are bringing aboard a crew for an Atlantic crossing in june. All expenses paid... but I dont fit the criteria.

They want a young aspiring sailor... :(
    I too old:(
