    Of course.

I prefer the way I did it because I removed the Scion feet entirely and replace them with the Tacoma feet. I Plug welded where the stock rivets go, and ran a bead around the circumference of each foot.

 if the welds are good they will be stronger than the seat rails themselves

I figured if I beef that bracket up tho, it should be fine. looks like the other holes line up.

None of the holes will line up, the Scion seat pan is very very similar to most sedans on the market. The Tacoma seat is just set up weird with the side mount and big hump up front.

To each his own. I liked using the Tacoma feet so I did. It’s neater.

I just want new seats and some simple fab. I think my plan is to get buy some 3/16 stock and get creative before doing all the drilling etc.

Exciting new addition to the truck in the works!

A SUPER rare original TRD Supercharger for the 3RZ-FE made by Alpine. The wine pairings for this evening include an AEM Methanol Injection System, a PLX DM-6 Multigauge and SM-AFR Wideband Simulator, along with a tasteful modern reproduction of the original TRD boost gauge made by Speedhut.

This is a well used supercharger, I would be Owner #3. It's in excellent condition in exception of the EGR system. The PO ran a block-off plate so it wasn't an issue. However, California with it's strict emissions laws would never let that fly. Both EGR stud holes are stripped. One side was drilled out to an M9 or M10 bolt, while the other remained precariously attached with Helicoil.

That wouldn't fly for me. I dropped off the intake plenum at Tech Machine Shop in Livermore, CA who is currently TIG welding the holes shut, machining, and re-tapping the holes with brand new studs. Also with a well deserved jetwash.

I have sandblasted the manifolds in preparation for porting and polishing. After that comes paint!

Nice! SC is not for me but look forward to watching your's come alive. A local guy put one on his Gen 3 4Runner with the 7th injector. He really likes it. (Not sure which version he used)

3RZ is rare on the 4Runner, probably has the much more common Magnuson supercharger for the 5VZ.

5th/7th injector is uber illegal for me so that won’t be happening haha

Ah that’s easy to hide though. Just swap the tubes back and put a sticker over the AEM meth stuff on the reservoir.

Ha. Smog. I have emissions. But all they do is hook up to the computer. No visual inspection or anything. Soooo I can get away with anything

Damn that engine looks sweet. If only LCE liked the 5vz as much as the 22R/2RZ/3RZ.

Yeah, strange how uncommon the 3RZ supercharger is.
