The squirrel was taken with my iPhone; jackrabbit with a Nikon D300S & 18-300mm zoom; and the rabbit in my yard with my Nikon P900 I think.

    I'll jump in....been shooting as a hobby for 30+ years....had Nikon from the start.....FG, N8008, D70, D2x, D700....now have a D800 and D500. Also have an old Mamiya 645.
Bought a used 500 F4 AFS several years ago and have a few others like the 28-702.8, 70-200VRII2.8 and a few other odds and ends.
Shot general stuff for years, landscapes mainly, shot a few weddings, events and so on...Finally about 15 years ago I could afford to start going to a few more interesting places, national parks mostly. Here are a few......and of course a couple with the Tacoma, from last September in Colorado.

    Alaska, Lake Clark National Park.....

Moose in Glacier National Park, Fishercap lake

Mt Moran, Grand Teton NP with a little extra photoshop, HDR

    Glacier NP Swiftcurrent Lake

Colorado, Last Dollar rd. near Telluride

    Yellowstone NP, Grizzly "Hobo"

And the Tacoma in Colorado. Old Fall River rd RMNP, and Last Dollar rd. near Ridgeway

Anyone here use a GoPro Fusion? I have always had GoPros but the new Fusion looks like it takes some cool looking pictures! Thoughts?

Hey, everyone. Are there any really good books that can be recommended to people that are beginning in photography? I pick up information here and there on YouTube, but enjoy diving into books too.

Also, I am currently learning on a Canon 80D with the 18-55mm kit lens as well as the 50mm 1.8.

    Thanks ahead of time.

I wish I had a good book to recommend. I started off with a notepad and pen. Find something to shoot, put the camera in manual mode then note the shot number and the settings (f stop, apperature, iso, etc). I'd make small changes then note the new settings and how the shot changed.

If you're unsure where to start, put that sicker in auto and take note of the settings, then start adjusting from there.

    Hope this helps
