still judging you for presenting the poll with an outlier to skew the graph
now I have to pull out my statistics textbook and refresh how to deal with that
early results don't seem to be pointing to a nice smooth bell curve, still need a larger sample size

My first car was older than me (barely). A '78 Olds

I don't have any nostalgia or a desire to own anything form that era ever again.

My dad had a '50 F1 when I was growing up. He kept selling/buying it back and forth with a friend of his. My dad would have it a few years, do some work, then it'd sit for a while. Then his friend would buy it and do the same. I think he did that like 3 or 4 times.

    Entirely possible.

There was one time where he paid my dad in pennies, I shit you not. I can only imagine out of spite? Dad hired slave labor (us kids) to count and roll them.

I remember multiple glass carboys on the table filled with pennies.:frusty:

Oh, and it was by hand. We didn't have any of those machines that stack and stuff them in the paper rolls.

Friend in high school had a truck like that, 70's ford. Left a blue cloud where ever he drove.

My first car, the Olds, was actually pretty nice. It was my grandmother's car. I could fit at least 7 or 8 friends in it without feeling cramped. Eventually I killed it in a head-on with a Grand Cherokee.

Took me a second to figure out if "1st gen age range" was "how old my truck is" or "how old I am"

    My 1st car was a 67 Firebird (400 :burnrubber:)

    Loved that car.

Picture not mine but same color, same car

As for the taco, drove it off the lot in 2002.

Always loved the 1st gen Tacoma, wanted one when I was a teenager. My first vehicle was a 1982 Chevy S-10 that I bought when I was 14 before I even got my permit. They don't make compact trucks like they used to.
