I would have traded for a manual too but I'm happy to report 20ish before and since the tune. This is really weighing on me to star with my 245/75R16 tire size...avoiding anything too heavy. 265/75(or70)R16 was a consideration but with the weight I just don't need it. I certainly don't need E-rated tires with all the extra mass for a gravel road. To each their own though....

I've been running stock sized SL rated Falkens. I've got no need to run E and destroy my fuel economy. They've actually held up really well, i had 2 nails in 1 tire and it only had a slow leak. I've got nearly 50,000 miles on them now

I think my mileage will increase after the stumble fix. Because when it does it I have to make it downshift

Not true. I driven over 200 miles trip with speed between 70 to 90 mph and got over 22 mpg. See pics bellow

Gas mileage varies due to so many factors. For instance, I just got back from a 1200 mile road trip through Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. The truck was loaded down with myself, my wife, about 300 pounds of gear, and I'm running 285/70/17s with a 3" lift. Drove LOTS of highway miles between 70 and 80 MPH. My average MPG was 19.8. This was on the 87 Base tune with ECT engaged.

This is exactly why I feel gears will actually give better mpg at speed because they can hold the momentum of the vehicle better. ECT is essentially doing this at speed

It's shares the "config" version 1.2.1 currently and I never updated it independently...so YES!

here's some data from my stocked no tune 2016 AT built 10/2015. Both great and truly awful fuel economy is possible depending on the day. In general the worst numbers were higher speeds, headwinds, etc and the higher numbers were days cruising at 55 mph.

I have driven this route pre-tune and and have never come close to these numbers! 87 Base, 80% highway, 75 mph, and favorable winds. Love OVTune!20190418_094549.jpg

Can’t really expect to get the same mpg as a 4 cylinder.

My order arrived at noon today and right after lunch I flashed 87 base. Drove home from work just like I normally do. Well, not quite, as I had to get away from some idiots on the highway... so maybe a bit more aggressive than normal. Still, I got about 1 mpg better than my best afternoon commute and around 2.5 mpg more than my typical.

Wow! Power delivery was smooth across the whole band! Fewer shifts when holding a steady speed. Acceleration from 60-80 (passing) was spot on.

I am very pleased so far.
I can’t wait to see what happens with my little trailer behind.

This tune isn’t compatible with a 4 cylinder

Plus you can get the V6 in the SR IIRC
