That hadn't actually crossed my mind!

There are a couple of materials available that would fit the UV requirements and strength requirements, in a couple of colors. If people want colors we could make that happen but it would probably be a $15 add on to cover the hassle. :)

Thanks! They will probably be a few months though, be warned. You can always buy the rack and then the others once they are out!

I'm planning to take the prototypes to Utah this summer, and production in August if all goes well.

Hey guys! Sorry for the delays, life gets in the way some times, and so do delivery delays. Trust me, doing everything I can to get these for sale ASAP.

Here are the FINAL versions all rendered, and a quick load simulation (its not perfect in the real world, I know.) of a 1500lb load on a single bracket, just for fun.

Just introduced my buddy to TW. He might be getting one too

You making / including the corner brackets still?

Will this work for gen 2 and 3?

    Awesome!

Corner brackets are free with the first 15 orders. You can order a set with your roof rack order for $15 if you missed out.

Not sure, I KNOW it will fit 2nd gen, id have to have someone help me test it with 3rd gen.

Any plans on an access cab version? And would I have to drill holes into my cab?

Access cab you would have to drill holes, so may or may not do one depending on interest in this version.

Standard dual can version uses factory mounting points, so no holes.

Update: "real" life has been in the way this week, sorry guys!

Good news. I put 700lb+ across the rack mounted to the roof and didn't have any issues. Working on guidelines for mounting big things like RTTs and how/where to mount things.

Probably going to end up being "200lb on any one cross bar - 800lb when mounting across 6 points"

Also going to have a "mount kit" with 4-6 little mounts for quickly clipping bungee cords and stuff. Probably $20 add on if you want it. More to come.

Also working on guidelines for installation and such. I want this to be simple, understandable, enjoyable and overall a super solid experience for everyone.

Leaving no stone unturned takes a bit of extra work, but I think you can all agree it's worth it.
