The perfect garage does contain one of each.

There is no perfect vehicle for me. But this one makes the most sense. Got a great deal, very low interest rate, and it’ll hold its value. And it’s already “built”. Gas mileage is my biggest complaint. As well as not enough umph in the engine dept.

Would love to, fought for her to get a runner but she needed a new ride at the time and the newest gen was a little pricy for her. I’m sure we will in time...why you selling yours??!!!!

There’s always a price, but the price we’d sell you might as well go new

Could always put a Magnussen on there :burnrubber:. If we get a new runner that would be first to match the guts of the V8 in the GX

    Yes to Rollins.

I hate my mpg, a v8 or SC would take me to single digit MPG or cost me way more in general. I’ll deal with what I have. Until it dies. Or I get bored enough to sell.

I was getting about 16.5 in stock trim with the sc, about 14.5 now with 35’s and everything else, so you would be far from single digits unless you were out playing. Also HP Tuners has finally released some seriously good software for putting a proper tune instead of the factory stupid rich TRD tune, so even more power and better mpgs.

    Just sayin :boink:

    What is stock? o_O

I live in PHX... I have to gun it to get on the interstate and haul ass up and down 17 at least twice a day. I get 15.5 daily driving with pizza cutters. Spending 6k on a SC doesn’t make sense for me. The runner can’t even tow, it’s kinda overrated, at least it’s comfortable. I wouldn’t be mad if it got totaled in a few years.

I'm waiting for Overlanding to be not cool anymore and all of these rich dudes that built high end 4runners are ready to sell them for a reasonable price.

One local was asking 65k or some shit. I almost died.

I only see the trend continuing. I’m sure 6th gen will be stupidly expensive and overall ridiculous.

Oh geeze. You can tell non car/off-road people have gotten into the hobby when they think they can factor full price mods into their selling price. I tried to watch a Youtube video last night about a guys drawer setup in his JK and I had to stop because he kept calling off-roading Overlanding.

I agree. I think it's cool that it has gotten more popular because it leads to more products but lately I feel like some of the new products lack in quality and the price of stuff has gone up like crazy other than lighting. I bought my ARB fridge new for $500 and now they are $900. A lot of these new shops are just trying to sell people things for the cool factor from what I have noticed on social media. At least when I buy something from Wil over at Sierra Expeditions he doesn't try to sell me something I don't need or want. He has been that way for the last 10 years that I have been going to his shop
