    Welp, the TDI spare block i had isn't a TDI block. It’s a 5cyl Audi block. Stupid beers while counting connecting rods. Im still thinking about buying a ALH engine and getting a 2wd Tacoma to throw it in

    Couldn't help but notice somebody Is doing a TDI build which is funny cause I literally talked to my diesel buddy from Arizona about TDIs and Tacoma this morning, have you looked into making it all mechanical? Buddy figured out the rotary injection pump from a 4BT Cummins would bolt to a TDI an provide tons of fuel for one, just a thought!

    Ya that’s known as the Mtdi mod. IIRC you have to mill the face of the gear in order to fit, swap out governor springs ETC... Any TDI that’s pre 2004 or before the BEW engine code like 1z,AHU,ALH are mechanical. The limiting factor is usually the block, I’m considering building a BEW block with an ALH head.

    coyotes killed a doe on my dad's property last week. I'm on the way to protect the poor deer but it's also turkey season over there. I don't know what to do. Run around with a shotgun and a rifle?

    during deer season I saw turkey every day and would just walk along side them and take pics.
