The idea was to keep it as simple and strong as possible, and allow me quick access in case of an emergency. The passenger seat headrest will have my trauma kit attached once I’m finished rebuilding it. Sadly, I’ve had to use it too much in the past 3 months, but always best to be prepared.

when you start adding weight on the bed rails like a topper with a roof top tent or other stuff on that it can flex the sides of the bed out at the rear. these just add some rigidity to the bed to keep that from happening

Installed the center console organizer by JDMCAR as well as the OEM emblem overlays and OEM tail gate inserts... turned out great! Now to get rid of the last bit of chrome once my grille arrives.

    O.K. thanks.

Yeah I'm not going to get those above. I doubt I ever stand on them because I'm around 255lbs. was wanting something that offers protection against door dings though.

Finally got around to moving my dual band radio from the jeep to the Taco.

RAM suction cup mount for the control face, the set is under the driver’s seat along with the external speaker.

Routed power out through the boot in the firewall and the separation wire runs down the A pillar trim and along the wiring harness to where it goes under the seat. Antenna coax runs out from the floor grommet across the engine bay to the Comet mount and antenna.

27” whip, lots of spring, tops out a little higher than the cab.

Nice mount, fits the hood lip and should still allow for clearing the eventual ditch lights. Adjustable in two axes.

Ehhh... don’t quote me yet... this was suppose to be King extended travel with 700#springs. Plenty of muscle to carry my new Mobtown armor. The reality was different. Due to a mistake in ordering, and then my installer not catching it, I have non extended travel Kings with 600# springs. With all the added armor and winch weight, it’s worse than stock. Once we realized the mistake, we have ordered the correct parts. So ask me again in a couple weeks, and we will see.

Finally installed my @mesojdm LSP7W lower switch panel so my Redarc brake control doesn’t dangle from the dash anymore.

Nope. Local installers (who did all the cut
Work for my armor) are asking for nothing. Being great about this. It has been unfortunate that this has happened, but they have been great in making it right.

Hopefully everything will come in and go on correct and I will be done.
