Hi guys, does anyone have the retrax one bedcover? And if so, how do you like it. I'm thinking about getting one soon.

I have the Pro MX, great cover and I have no complaints. Where are you located? Mine is for sale.

I bought a Retrax for my '05 when they first came out. After 7 years of use, the top separated from the end piece when it rolled up. Retrax offered to warranty it and I upgraded to the aluminum Pro. No issues at all. I moved it over to my 3rd Gen. (just needed to buy the rails)
It is very handy and locks anywhere along the track. You do lose some space at the cab but there is clearance under the rollup.
BTW, there are a couple for sale in B/S/T

So is mine. The cost for the 3rd gen rails was ~$300.

I had the retraxpro mx on my long bed. It leaked but wasnt terrible. If you were on flat ground it was fine but if u parked on a curve or any angle you will get water in your bed to whatever side it leans.

Over all it was pretty pricey($1700 new) to still not be able to trust whats in your bed wouldn't get some water on it.

It was probably the nicest looking cover but honestly wasnt worth the price. I wouldn't recommend spending the premium on the pro but i believe the "One" is in line price wise with other rolling covers.

The retraxone you are looking at i believe is the same cover just the pro was aluminum vs the Polycarbonate.

I've had mine for three years and it's been through some serious Texas rains with no leaks. Ok.....so it had about a cup of water in total that leaked down the bedside and under the factory bed mat. Nothing in my bed has ever gotten wet with the cover on.

Maybe I had a dud but this was typical after a light to normal rain on flat surface.

I installed mine myself and had a similar result shown in your pictures. After contacting Retrax I reinstalled the bed rails. It's had to explain but....the track where the rollers travel was at a downward angle which allowed the water that got past the outside weather strip on the cover to drip into the bed. After messing with the bolts (that attach to the accessory rail) for a while I was able to get the rails to angle "up" if that makes sense. I've never had a problem after that.

Yeah I was maxed out as far a travel on the mount points and couldn't get mine to do that. Customer service essentially said ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not worth the bed space loss...

Bed space loss has not been an issue with me in the 14 years I have owned one. Yeah, you do lose about a foot at the upper end of the bed, but you still have ~8" or so at the bottom for long items and the convenience of it rolling up makes up for that loss.

I put a kayak in my Bed. We loved our retrax in the wife’s full size truck.... but after having more space in the Tacoma we duced it for newer trifolds. Don’t get me wrong they are nice, just didn’t wanna loose the space.

I have the same issue but not sure how to "angle" the track mounts. Any insight you can offer? I know this is an old thread but I just got mine on a few weeks ago and have had the same result as @Loudog504

Also, the drains for the main box are pretty weak. They don't seem to snap in tight and the washers leak pretty bad. All that said I do love this thing and the protection it's offering.

Was considering the Retrax but losing the space up front to an already short (5 foot) bed killed that idea. Went with a Diamondback cover instead.
