i live in LA but don’t mind the drive, now that summer is coming I’d like to tint my windows. Any shop recommendations?

Also, if I’m looking for 15% tint, should they tint the back a different percentage so they all look even?

I've had 2 vehicles done here, best work of the 6 vehicles I've had done. They're in Artesia. I tried my best to find a flaw to get them to knock down the price but I failed to find a single loose edge, jagged cut, trimmings on my floor...not a damn thing wrong.

I doubt 3rd gen glass has tint baked into the glass, so they'd be stripping off the stock film to put your desired tint on. This means the same tint can be used all around to achieve equal shade, assuming you're starting with clear glass all around.

Any chance you know what if be looking into for cost? Yelp has a 10% off coupon so that’ll be nice.

I've always used Quality Glass Tinting in Glendora. I got mine done with ceramic tint for 400 (including the front windshield ) .

Edit: didn't have enough time to do the windshield the first time around.

Wrap armor in Anaheim does ceramic tint. Great people to work with and Mike works hard to make sure you're satisfied.

Not sure for ceramic, I always go with carbon for reasons that don't matter in this thread. I paid $350ish for my truck (access cab, so 5 windows). Most recently was my daily driver Chevy Volt. That was $675 but I had it ALL done, including $215 for 50% on the windshield with a 5% brow across the top, also $100 to remove the old tint already on it.

    Tint Plus in Lake Forest:

I had all my cars done there. Paid $250 for the Pinnacle Series, with their Black Friday Coupon (regular price was $360).
They use Formula One tint, it has the best warranty which covers bubbling, peeling, fading and installation for the life of the car. Whether you own the car or sell it, the warranty follows it nationwide for life.
Plus - if you'll get a tint fix-it ticket (I did once) - come with the ticket and they'll remove it for free (ask about the last one, to make sure, as it was quite few years ago for me).
Edit: I only had door windows done, as the shell stays in.

2nd for Mike and Wrap Armor. Go ceramic whatever you do. Main reason I did it was for my 2 little girls that ride in the back, now that suns out guns out in So Cal it has already made a huge difference for my two back seat passengers.

I went back today and had them do my front windshield with clear ceramic. Great stuff.
