Well it’s been almost four months, and he hasn’t had to add any oil. Most of his driving is in town, and it burns more oil on the highway, but before the treatment he would have added at least a couple of quarts by now. Looks like the stuff worked.

Alright, one side done and it took me all damn day. Still, glad I’m doing this myself (with plenty of help from dad) rather than taking it to a shop. Learning a lot here.

My current project. Needed to get rid of the 21 year old bench. 07 wrx seats. Have 3 outta 4 mounting points welded up on the driver’s side.

Gonna have to do something about the headrest, it’s way too thick. Other than that, this is a solid choice if you’re ~6 foot or under, especially with the space of an extra or double cab.

Wow the flash on my phone makes the seat look disgusting. Way less noticeable in person, I swear o_O

I have the PLX for AFR and Boost. If I could do it again I’d go with something else. It has some issues and PLX customer support isn’t that good. But maybe I just have bad luck with it.

I’m also pretty sure you’ll need the AFR module to use any of the additional modules. But you might want to email PLX on that.

I put a brand new steering rack in with brand new oem bushings before I headed to Moab and that shit was shot in 5k miles. Serious movement.

I very much regretted not swapping to the poly’s when I installed it.

I had the same amount of movement right after installing an oem rack. I’d gotten a 01+ rack so that it had the better guide design, but didn’t realize that meant my center bushing sleeve was way too large for the oe bolt on my 97. After swapping to the energy suspension bushings (which involved a good deal of massaging that center bolt through the new bushing sleeve) I have zero movement. But I haven’t been to Moab since :D

I figured it out. You need a module for each individual system you want. For example you need one to monitor fluid pressure, one for temperature, and one for AFR.

I would just use a standalone ATF gauge if it wasn’t so bulky. I like the PLX because you can use it for so many different things.

Ditched my beat to hell flares for....whatever you want to call this mod. I like the look, truck looks a little higher too without the flares on.

I'm convinced the universe doesn't want me to get one. Either too many other things come up that I need to spend money on, then I finally think I can swing it after my raise but CA goes "hey let's raise gas prices by $2/gallon that'll be funny" so...yeah
