    A .44 would do it.
Be sure to post a pic. :p

    I have a Walther P22 (.22 caliber).
I carry it in the yard sometimes loaded with hollow points in case I surprise a groundhog.
    In my garden.

[EDIT] Not that I ever hit one with a pistol.

Turkey is an amazingly agile bird for its size. Can run 25mph, can fly 60mph. I've seen a turkey jump straight up off the ground, a few wingflaps and it was 30ft off the ground roosting on an oak branch.

If I want to shoot and my wife doesn't want to go, I'll go to a WMA shooting range since you can shoot free with a HL. Last spring a week before turkey season I was setting up and looked up and a group of turkeys was strutting across the 100 yd berm.

This was in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. These things would come perch on the bench beside me begging for my lunch. I explained to them the sign said not to feed the wildlife.
Apparently nobody else read the signs.

No shit, they did that once at the range at my club.
How weird. I see them all the time when or where it's illegal to shoot them.

I was grouse hunting once with blaze orange on me and heard clucking.
I froze and a flock of 20 or so paraded right past me at maybe 30 yards or less.
Each one looked me up and down.
But I stood as still as ever I could.
    I couldn't believe they didn't spook.
Having all those beady eyes on me was a strange sensation.
I wanted to laugh or shake my fist at them. Something. :p

But they were out of season.
And I was loaded with 7 1/2 birdshot anyway.
It would be nothing more than a fluke to kill one with that.

White Pelicans are interesting birds. They're huge birds, travel in packs, and fish in packs. They'll descend on a lake as they migrate, make a semi-circle on the surface, herd fish into the shallows, and have a good feed.
