It's less Tacoma and more mod
This is the exact reason I never gave it a second look. It promises a lot and the modules seem to deliver on little of it

Haha! Awesome! I agree, the look is much more agressive but be warned... @turbodb mentioned something about mud EVERYWHERE without the flares ;)
    :crapstorm:

Didn't want to try the neoprene washers? Does the spray adhesive just keep it from sliding about because the back of the clip is tacky with it or is the clip actually 'glued' to the fender?

Guess I'll have to give it a try when I pull my skid to change my oil.

Yeah but what I was trying to say was I believe you have to have the AFR for any of the others to work. You couldn’t just run a boost or fluid temp alone.

No freezing but about 40% of the time it won’t show anything on screen. I just unplug it and plug it back in.

The other issue is the Boost gauge flashes what seems like completely random numbers. It’s too fast to see what it asctaully says but it just looks like it’s spazzing out. It does this most of the time but not every day.

I’m thinking this all might be due to the way I have it wired up. I used add-a-circuits for both boost and AFR. Eventually I’m going to hard wire them in somehow to see if that fixes it.

I think we are talking about different things. I'm talking about the multiguage link where it uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone.

Are you talking about the DM-6?

Regardless, for whatever reason it made a difference for me in which module was set to receive from the other. I could read AFR but not boost. I flipped it and they both work. This was with the phone app, maybe it apply to the DM-6 as well.

Yes. I have the DM-6. And setting it up was a pain for me as well. I ended up talking with PLX and they had me set It up backwards from the actual directions and it worked...

That is the BudBuilt kit. 3/16" bare steel

    The closest guess yet

That feels like 47 to me. :p

Well I guess it a little reassuring I didn’t get a wonky kit. PLX just has poor quality control.

Even after speaking with them about my other issues they offered no real solutions.

Nice, I think I figured out my clunking on my leaf springs last night too. I decided to try pumping a lot of lithium grease into the zerk for the main eye bushings and lo and behold the clunking is gone. I've greased them before but usually just a couple pumps...this time I put in probably a dozen and now the noise is gone. Hopefully it lasts.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I had noisy anti-sway bar D bushings on one of my other cars. It sounded like creak from a bad strut bearing or LCA. Couldn't figure it out. The noise would happen when I pulled in the driveway. Bought a chassis ear and found the noise was coming from the D bushing. I used some silicone "Green Grease" on the bushing and took care of the noise. This grease is sticky. If you get it on your clothes, it is hard to get off.

What coils do you have? Looks like a good bit of preload you have going on. May want to drop it a bit and it’ll probably ride a tad better. Plus CV angles would look better

23” from center of hub to bottom of fender is ideal. That’s 2” over stock.

As Brett pulled into line at the top of the hill, I jogged back down to my truck - excited as usual when the trail requires a bit of attention. And, like the first three guys, I made it up unscathed - though I did stall once, "A little too trusting of the low gears, like Frank." Laughed Monte.

The low gears definitely are nice! :D
