    I was down that way on a boat once. Also about 15 years ago. I take a vacation every 15 years or so, wether I need one or not.

    Hey now, don’t forget about me on the injectors. I’m totally in. Ive been wanting to ditch the URD ones for awhile now. Getting rid of the adapter harness and having matched flow sounds awesome. I always felt the URD ones were, how can I say this, but dirty feeling?

    You know the deal then. He says he has everything but the software. I would be leery of a complete install kit. If you have the complete itemized list from Magnuson and can match it up then I would deal, but without anything else in the picture that doesn’t seem like a deal. The TRD stamp is a nice touch but not that nice.

    Odd question as I haven’t had a chance to do any research yet, if I already own HPT (used to tune a Silverado I used to own) will the same software (with an update I assume?) and data cable be compatible with my 13’ tacoma?

    Thank you and that is a viable option for sure. I am going this route for $100 shipped at car-part.com.

    Notice it also includes the MAF so I will have two!
    For my application I may have to flip the box upside down if I intend to use it, but it is possible with a little modification that the Tundra air box (which houses the maf) could be installed in a Tacoma for an oem looking high flow intake option.
    Who knows, if it looked clean enough it would even pass Cali inspection with a 76mm tb! Imagine that you unfortunate restricted souls!

    Since that area of my engine is now cleansed, I can do a quick fitment check to see if it is even feasible without serious modification. I hope to receive it in a week.

    An engine is more fuel efficient, runs and idles smoother and makes more power when all of the combustion chambers receive the same amount of fuel. That is the basics of it.

    This is just a general rough calculation. There are other factors at play which could make this number higher or lower. Say you have a 400 peak horsepower 1GR-FE. If you have a couple cylinders running 5% leaner than the other 4.

    400/6 = 66.66
    66.66*0.95 = 63.33
    66.66*4= 266.66
    63.33*2= 126.66
    266.66+126.66 = 393.33

    So you left 6-7hp on the table because the injectors aren’t balanced.

    I can see balance only promoting longevity of engine internals as well. Bearings, rods, and everything else.
