@Jamesboy2233 I'm pretty sure those Omron relays are toast, and the PCB is corroded beyond repair. I don't know how it looks under the relays, IC, or resistors.

 

Do you ever wonder how much of his truck is actively turning into a resistive load?

 

I don't know why his truck broke when he drove into the poop water, electricity doesn't conduct without a ground. /s

I know you know that ain't true. Well the clean connectors and dielectric part is cause that's just smart after you've gone for a swim. But wires submerged most certainly do go bad, water has a way of wicking into the tightest spots a spots and when it corrodes it bubbles up insulation and allows more water and contaminants in. This is one of the reasons you never buy a flood vehicle, even if they go super cheap at auction. @Empty_Lord probably sees this a bit on the rare older vehicle that comes into his place to be worked on, you can cut wire harnesses in half and see the green crusties that have turned the copper wires into a resistive mess. Sometimes you can even have funny failures like this too, Mercedes sprinters have a common oil pressure sender failure where it pushes oil through the wiring harness into the cab. Volvo had a similar issue with their wires getting saturated with coolant from a prominent leak. That doesnt mean that you might have just gotten lucky though, there's always hope

he most likely has corosion on the wire that is exposed past the pin.. the water can also work into the jacket of the wire through the exposed copper behind the pin



i would start looking for a donor truck to steal harnesses from
