Tonight I washed the TRD air filter and cleaned the MAF.

Also wired up a new Kenwood ham radio but can’t find a place to mount it that I like. In the process of grounding it to the grounding strap bolt I stripped the head off. I temporarily moved the ground strap over a few holes for the night so that everything is ok for now. I’ll have to drill out the old one

Partway through my stereo install, did a lot more today.
    - Complete coverage of inner AND outer door skins with deadener
    - Infinty C2 components in all doors. Found an excellent little pocket in between body panels just in front of the doors to tuck the crossovers into. Stoked on that.
    - Alpine 90w x4 amp under the drivers seat
    Today:
    - Installed 7 band EQ with volume knob, sub gain, and aux channel. Chopped out tons of plastic and supports under the pioneer deck to fit it in where the clock/hazard assembly was. Formed some new, simple mounts for everything. I'm not the best with metal so the finish isn't great but it's structurally great and allows for a lot of space behind the eq and deck.
    - Used oscilloscope to dial in max volume/gain without clipping on Deck, EQ and amp separately.

To do this weekend: full deadener/CCF/MLV on firewall/floor/back-wall. Add capacitor onto distribution block in preparation for sub amp. Take measurements to make custom 10" sealed sub box for behind the seats

The goal for tax season next year is a system redo including JL C5's, audio source 4-channel, JL HD 750/1 and 2 - W6 10's. But for now this mid level system will be great.

I sorta have that as an option. Bartering a full mounted gator for a different wrap.

Well, dropped off the truck for 4.56 regear and ARB air lockers front and rear. I swear I’m about done after this. My wallet hates me.:anonymous:

Yeahh, that would also be me. I've had parts building up in my room for almost a year. I'm doing all the stuff to this 4x4 that I didn't get to do with my old PreRunner. She's never getting stuck now

Very nice, I did my bumpers and flares with tintable bedliner (silver streak), I'm gonna do my door handles and mirrors this weekend.

    Thanks!
I have to do my door handles! I get constant dirt streaks running down the doors. I guess I'll do the same treatment to them as I did the mirrors. I think also, that the plastic gaskets behind the handles have dried out as well and don't seal tight against the doors, hence the streaks.

Hiked her skirt up a bit this morning. My utility knife ran from the bottom of the body to just above the 4x4 on the rears, so used that as my "measurement" up front. Rounded the corners a little with shears and then deleted the front airdamn flap too now that it was rubbing with the new wheels.20190419_094425.jpg 20190419_094639.jpg

Love it, people today are missing out on the joy of a nice EQ. I never see them in vehicles anymore and it used to be the crown jewel of your stereo set up.
