If you go straight for the beta without ever installing the full version, there is an error that will occur with certain builds of Windows. @Roostfactor experienced it and I experienced it on one of my laptops.

Having gone through that once and finding the solution via google, I’d suggest installing the full version and then install the beta over top of it.

 

The errors associated to just installing the beta version alone usually involve a continue or quit text box. Just hit continue and move forward, as the error in no way has affected my functionality, of course my setup is simple as I only use read/ write and logging modes.

 

Oh good grief. I installed the version on the flash drive, then uninstalled it. Then I downloaded the beta version and installed that. So far it seems to work. Been looking through sample files. There are settings in here that I have no clue what they are. Still haven’t scanned my truck.

 

Spray all the visible injectors down with a thin film of oil, then drive through a very dusty terrain. Accelerate dirt collection on your engine. Hide the mods with an ugly engine bay.

 

Better get pistons if adding nitrous. Your current skinny ring lands just don't have the muscle to handle it.

 

If you can see stuff and no error pops up when you first open the editor, you don’t have that issue. You’re good to go.

It’s what we were all hoping ovtune would be and more, but they dropped the ball. And from a much more established company

 

One unit can be used multiple times with only the purchase of credits.....Most here are buying one so they can tinker, but I would think that if I was n/a, I'd be asking @JustDSM to load up a tune. I think he offered it for $250...

 

Just SO many pages here. I see JustDSM made an NA tune... where can i download this, have the differences to a stock tune been mentioned?

Edit: you could buy it, get your tune dialed in over summer. Then I pick up the unit in July from you and can get mine dialed in.

Since the actual unit could be shared and each person would just need to purchase credits for their tune, @XPOTRPR @GT7 and any other AZ peeps care to split a purchase?

 

really hoping to have this tuning stuff figured out this year. love to spend a day at the dyno and adjusting timing and ignition at high rpms and have the meth comes on.
meth kit is cheaper then bigger injectors. just saying

 

Each ecu needs 4 credit. One module can be shared though

 

So, I've read my truck and I received the message that it didn't pull the file from my truck, I received a stock file. Since I have the TRD tune, did I receive a TRD tune file? How do I verify that?
