I’m super jealous of you guys out in SLC. MY buddies that work at snowbird have it made. The beautiful powder daysin the winter, then fantastic local riding like Crest, park city a short jaunt away. Moab, and Colorado park riding is easily drivable. Last time I went for a visit I came home after logging over a couple hundred miles in a week and a half, half dead and loving it. I need to head back soon

The very first time I tired MTB was on a wal-mart bike right after high school. I saw some guy hauling ass down hill on a fully decked out bike. I hit up my cousin and we decided to give it a try. The terrain is rocky, steep with gravel in places.

About 3/4 of the way down I had to walk the bike because it wasn't rid-able

Literally EVERYTHING loosened up or broke. Flat tires, bent rims, brake and derailleur cables broke, and the handle bars were all loose. (This was my first MTB ride so I didn't have any tools or Spare parts)

But it was awesome. I fell in love with the sport. I never want to stop biking.

I've run racks folded up and blocking the plate on different cars and the truck with no issue from cops. I also don't drive terribly far and pretty much follow speed limits and what not.

Can someone point me in the direction of bike rack discussions and reviews? Maybe theres another thread or even another website.. its time for a new rack for me. a 2 bike rack is ideal. Swing gate would be a plus but not necessary, quality over anything, budget is open just not thousands of dollars.

You're in the right thread for that. lol I often feel this thread is mostly people asking questions about racks and transport options. browse back the last 10-15 pages, I'm sure there's something. If not, google "Tacomaworld bikes and tacos bike racks" or something like that.

or just ask your question, and I'm sure someone will answer it.

I like my 1Up, three years now, no problems ... and no tickets. Though I’ve started using a freebie tailgate pad I got, for shorter drives or if I’m planning to spend a lot of time off pavement.

Another fun training. If it looks steep on gopro it is probably steeper IRL. :rofl:IMG_20190420_080020_301.jpg
