It's really not, though. A savings account is where your money should be in the first place. That should be step one. Savings pay next to nothing right now thanks to the ultra low fed rates.

There are some high yield savings accounts, but those are still abysmally low.

But if you want your money to actually DO something, at least put it in mutual funds, muni bonds, etc...


But if you're smart, you invest like I do.

Beer and truck parts. There, at least you KNOW what the return will be.

How do you describe a winch to someone who doesn't understand what a winch is?

 

Its a basically a crane that pulls things horizontally versus vertically

I buy those sometimes. There great for "i wonder if it's good" or take them camping cause glass breaks lol

 

Most likely it either got foreclosed on (taken back by the bank because the previous owner couldn't pay their mortgage) and/or it's got a lot of issues that need addressed and are going to cost a lot of money. Like maybe there was big time water damage at one point, electrical issues, needs repiping, bodies hidden in the walls, etc.

 

No, mustang kid was asking why there was a hook on my bumper and I told him it's my winch. And was trying to explain it but he is just to dumb I guess. So when he left my coworker said "let's put his car in the muddy corn field so you can winch him out"
