Thanks again for the welcome. The lift is similar to this one here (https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/pro-c...ogle_1749763888_65275301221__pla-668540567649)

I bought it over 10 years ago so I'm sure they've upgraded their line since then. It's a 4x4. You can see pics of what I've done recently on my profile page. I have to be careful with $$ now as I was just let go from my job April Fool's day... of all days lol.

Yup that's a drop bracket lift, it allows you to lift the front end 6" without compromising the angles and reliability of the IFS, especially the 4wd system. Otherwise a 6" lift would put major strain on the CVs, anything above a 3" suspension lift will greatly compromise the CVs. So if you want a 6" lift on an IFS 4x4 then drop bracket is the way to go.

I don't know what kind of skid plates they run but I'm sure there are some out there that work with them, maybe give ProComp a call and see what they say

Nice job on the shower! Did you do all of this? I may want to tackle something like this in the near future.

No I don't have the time or skill to do this work.
I did a lot of the design decisions on this remodel though.

When my wife and I remolded our old condo (before kids) we both were heavily involved in the design process. But she kind of just left it to me this time to make the decisions.

Nice. Where are you getting it done? Mind if I ask how much it cost? I eventually want to put a locker on mine.

I bet. A shop probably charges a ridiculous amount for that. Gotta self perform

@oni06 surely you can relate to the wallet pain felt by the gas price hike these past month....fucking ouch. Paid $4.60 for premium yesterday, kill me.

Yeah I'm starting to notice they're probably cheapest, even Arco near me (usually the cheapest Top Tier) is at $4.25 right now for 91. Unfortunately we only have one Costco near Monrovia but I might have to start making it a habit of waiting in that damn line.

I can make a tank last a week if I'm just cruising around town, weekends going to trails I'll go through a tank or more in a day.

Anyway, I did whatever you want to call this mod last night...pulled off the flares and plugged the rectangular holes with round plastic screws

    20190418_192323~2.jpg

My flares looked like shit from the poor job I did of cutting them, so I just took them off. Need to put my fender liners back in though, it's crazy how much dirt and crap gets into your door jambs with them off.

I assume you use premium because you have a supercharger, right?

yeah gotta use 91 minimum, 93 ideally but we don't get that here. Probably for the best because that shit would likely be over $5 right now lol.
