HH, bushings & shock towers ordered :spending: been waiting since Feb 5th for BAMF but they're too busy with Pelfrey to worry about their own backlog. /Rant

Will order naked OEM shackles for the install. Already have the Kangs, collecting dust at this point!

Good call on the archive kit, those shocks don't play nice with the BAMF kit, would have sucked to install and realize you don't have the clearance

For some reason I though you had to run bypass tubes forward with the archive relocation

I realized the BAMF towers didn't play nice with 2.5's after I ordered. My only way out at that point was a 20% cancellation fee. I figured I could notch whatever was needed & gusset to make up for it. Well a few months later they missed their ETA so I used it as leverage for a full refund.

You don't have to but it helps tire clearance

Sorry I should have stated that should fit no problem, I was more wondering if a tire would clear them, but I also didn’t think of using a 2” spacer either

Is that at full droop? Doesn't look like your shackles are fully rotating.

Yes and we loosened the bolt at the shackle just to make sure it wasn't binding there but no difference.

Did you measure exposed shock shaft? Just to make sure you weren’t being robbed of droop anywhere.

Yes, looked to be 11" on shock shaft and 12" from frame to bump compressed.

Interesting. @ARCHIVE Eric was talking to me awhile back about trying to shorten the length of the Archive springs because they weren’t fully drooping out with the 4.9”/4.5” shackle.

Are you referring to spring over or spring under setups?

Spring over. Under axle I would think wouldn’t have this problem because the geometry is different right? You’d know more about this than I.

I guess it would work best with the 3.6" shackles then

Just put these in. Ball joint press made the install so much faster. Thanks for the tip @EatSleepTacos !

Now to get out and put them to the test!
