ahh gotcha!

ya i need to build shelves and do a lot of stuff but i'm too lazy now

 

I gotta get rid of more stuff so I have room to move around.

Put some orange oil on the desk today and (plus it smells good)

i had a night stand from my grandparents house. was painted so i started removing paint.......i could tell it was old just by the 'era's' of paint colors

had beige, brown, 70's green, 60s orange

still havent finished it yet though

 

I have a table/night stand from my folks' that mom painted a few times. She used some finish that was popular 20+ years ago. Can't remember the name of the system she used. Some day I might strip the old stuff off and re-paint..

Yeah, colors change with the decade... Remember the old puke green / gold that everything was? Shag carpet....

 

lol yup found all that in my grandparents old place

my mom still has the green/orange/gold colored tupperware containers from them

 

As long as she doesn't have puke green appliances, cabinets, and carpet. I have green tupperware canisters and my son has my sisters' orange ones....

 

Friends of mine bought a house in Phoenix and the whole kitchen was green.... It didn't last very long

 

my inlaws just got ride of their 1970s era kitchen stove

was that dark brown color with the old beige 'details' to it

 

you wouldnt believe the stuff we put in multi-million dollar cottages

we did this one big beautiful cottage right on the water and they picked this nasty 70's green color cabinets for the kitchen

made it look old and outdated but they loved the 'vintage' look

 

I don't remember the brown

 

to each their own...

 

lol the dark brown wasnt too bad it was the creamy beige accents that were bad


and it was made of steel! friggin thing was super heavy and built like a tank

Just got in, long day. Took my daughter and her husband to visit my mother. My parrot Sam didn't look so good this morning so I brought him to the vet. He didn't make it.

How's mom doing, Dave?

 

Evidently birds don't show any signs of being sick until it's too late, something in their genetics so other animals won't prey on them. Not really sure what happened to him but he was acting fine yesterday and wouldn't eat or drink today. Brought him to the vet at about 11 and they kept him. They said he was dehydrated and in bad shape. I left him there so they could try to get him hydrated, but by the time I got home they called and said he didn't make it. I had him for about 15 years.

If your foot hurts after resting a bit and the pain goes away with walking then you probably have a heal spur.

I had one back in the late 80's and treated it with a cortozone, SP, shot and ultrasound treatments. It has never returned.
