There is no more Ad V in Ga, are you moving back?

You sure about that? The websites I'm searching saying moving into the state is gunna cost over 2k to register the truck.

I don't wanna have to pay it twice. Yeah might be moving back.

 

When I moved here a little over 5 years ago, I had to pay the whole amount up front (it could be split into 2 payments, one the day of application and I think 6 months later for the other half).

I'm sure the state won't have record of the first time, hope he kept a receipt!

 

Thing is I already paid it when I purchased the truck there. It was part of the final price.

Moving back and having to pay it all over again would suck ass

since you are applying for a title, again.

 

It's been just over a year.

Freaking GA! Man I'm gunna have over 6k in vehicle registration (truck and 2 new cars) fees if that's the case. Had previously paid GA on 2 of em.

My buddy kept his Oregon plates for like 3 years after he moved

She said yes, you will have to pay the taxes again. Sucks but no way around it. Sorry

 

I had to pay it... I did a year and a half ago. Sucked. Bought from GA but registered in FL. 2013 Tacoma owed like $1,200. They let me pay half up front but didn't give new title until rest paid. And my truck was paid off!
