I'm pretty sure ECGS can do whatever you want on width. Obviously you would have to go with the 35 spline axles at that point. This is the cheapest and strongest axle option out there. I'm paying $2500 more for a full float Diamond 9.5 and have waited exactly a year on it as of today. I'll just say you can't go wrong with ECGS.

The wait for the regular semi float version from Diamond is a month or so. I'm getting the full float compatible with ABS hubs which is/was a new product when I ordered so it was being prototyped. The ECGS 60 has been out for the FJC's and T4R's for almost 2 years, glad they are making a taco one.

    Lol!

Thanks man. All kidding aside, my Wife is actually pretty awesome. She has more guns than I do, and has her own trail rig.

I’m very lucky. She came into the garage when I was cutting my frame rails off after the flatbed build.

She only said, “I need some sand paper”

They just put one in some sort of Lexus too. I forget now which model Chase said it went into.

I've got two trips coming up in the next month and then some down time. I was planning on doing a 3rd gen 8.75 swap during that. But you've changed my mind, I'll call ECGS for a 60. I have an ARB and 5.38s new in the package on a shelf for a Dana 60 that I bought from them. Hopefully they'll let me swap out the gears and use them and the ARB to get the cost down.

I'm expecting to break a rear end on one of these two trips. between the 37s and now a crawlbox, its kinda a ticking time bomb

Nice. They’re so easy to work with, I doubt it’ll be a problem.

Jealous of the crawl box. I AMOST did one this time around. I just didn’t want to do the work. I had enough going on. If my truck were manual, I would 100% have One though.

Alright, with brand new 37” Cooper Pros, I have 11.25” of ground clearance under the lowest point of the 60.

So you can compare apples to apples, its 6.25” from the center of the axle tube to the lowest point on the center section.

Anyone feel like measuring their stock rear from center of the axle tube to lowest point on the center? I’m curious.

Don’t have the measurement for you, but what wheels are those? Rock rings look beefy

They are beefy. They’re Jegs brand 17” steelies with TMI weld on beadlocks. Both the weld on ring, and the bolt on ring are 3/16”. You CAN get them 1/4” but I thought that might be a little over kill. And they’re heavy enough as it is.

They’re 17” Jegs steelies with 4” BS. 3/4” spacer to JUST clear the front calipers to be more precise.

Looks good. I’ll be in the market for the same tires and beadlocks later this year. But probably gonna go with some fancy aluminum rims to save weight.

Yeah, I was looking at Hutchinson’s, but $500 eack kind of killed it.

That, and my old aluminum wheels were very torn up.

That was my reasoning to go with steel wheels anyway. I figure I’ll let the supercharger do its job to turn them :D

Just figured I’d bump this thread. Now that I have a few trips on the 60, I can say that it, and the OX locker, are performing flawlessly.

Best of all? I haven’t broken it yet :D
