Question...this bushing is being pushed out??? Anyone ever seen this? Before I call JBA...anyone see this before?

    This is passenger side....Second Gen.

OK...I guess I'll reach out to JBA to see about some new bushings and to see if I can get some new washers. Thanks for the second look.

Yeah what they said. I’m guessing there was a point where marlin didn’t include them, and people brought up this issue so he started including 4 washers. I’m guessing you recently greased your bushings? I only have two washers, but I have no zerks so my bushings never get greased. The bushing stays put though.

My theory is zerks+2 washers leads to the inner bushings popping out.

I'm getting everything ready for tomorrows install. Think I'm going to do the passengers side first since that seems to be the trickiest.

On the newer sets, yeah. Mine didn't come with any washers at all. I reused OEM.
I find both sides to be pretty equal. On each side there's a wiring harness in the engine bay right in the way of the bolt being moved. Undo a couple clips so you can slip the bolt between the sheet metal and the wiring loom. It'll slide right out.

OK...so going forward...Let me know if this is right...and it seems simple enough. Get new bushings, and new washers....replace. Seems simple enough.

Got the JBA UCA's installed. It was a struggle but doable once you realize what everyone has been saying. I found both sides to be equally the same PITA little things that get in the way of the removal of a 12 inch bolt. Just be patient and it all comes together.

I have early model spc. Will these uca’s make it easier for a shop to align? I find it difficult to get an alignment in my area when they see my uca’s

It will, yes. With these arms the adjustment is done no different than from the factory. I’ve heard of some shops trying to pull some shit and charge extra because aftermarket uppers, but they’re full of shit.

DAMN!!!! I used the texting number to JBA, Marlin...I got an automatic return text saying they were out of town in Moab, returning on Wednesday. He texted me back with what I needed to fix my bushings. I literally ordered them yesterday, on my doorstep today. WTF!!!! That is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!

These JBA's are a lot stronger than the factory UCA's. They also have a greasable and serviceable ball joint. In a nut shell, the OEMs are likely fine if you don't lift or go nuts off road. If you want piece of mind though, these deliver that.
