That's your problem lol. No kids, single 33yo E5 in the military. I can afford toys. Each to their own though. Got a buddy that is a married E5 with 3 kids and the guy is pulling his hair out and has no money for anything. Idk why people do that to themselves in that situation.. Not my life.

Hello folks. Just joined and trying to get a feel for pricing on a truck in a dealer lot. It's a Sport, DC5, Tech package, Predator steps, mud guard, AT. Internet price listed at $36,400 and located in AZ.

My vote is you should be able to get it a bit lower. Get quotes from dealers and have them work against each other

Bought a white double cab off road 4x4 AT with tech package, sill protectors, black tailgate lettering, and all weather floor mats for $34.2k. Made sure to take advantage of the stacked discounts at the end of the quarter and made all the dealerships compete with each other. MSRP was 38k and change. I think I got a good deal.

What should I pay for a 4x4 TRDOR FDSB with a tech package and mats. The msrp is 39k and change. I'm also located in north west florida. Currently at 38.2k otd. Any tips on getting it lower if not a good deal. There isnt many option similar to this with it having just the tech package.

Just bought my first Taco yesterday and wanted to see how I did. Tell me if I got a good deal or not.

2019 DCSB AT TRD Off-road 4x2 in Cement color
Included the tech package and I had them throw in all weather floor mats
MSRP was $36,072 and my price before TTL was $30,650.

    Good deal? Average? Bad?

Awesome deal, although it seems they’re willing to discount the 4x2s a bit more than the 4x4

Wouldn’t surprise me. I didn’t even consider a 4x4 cause I thought it would be out of my price range. Maybe I should’ve looked into it a little more. But still happy with the truck I did get.

Hello, not a 2019 but i’m looking at a 2018 trdor dcsb with 23k miles for 29k. Car fax description is “commercial vehicle”. It also states that it’s about 1500 under local pricing. i’m new to this and wondering if that’s a good/fair price?
    Cheers

I just picked up a 19 TRD Pro for $45,700. The first one I looked at was $52k and had a $3000 dealer adjustment fee. I was told several times by two dealers how "rare" they are- even though they had 5 on the lot.

Just bought my first new vehicle ever. On the lot for 4 months, 11 miles so it was barely if ever test driven. I have wanted a loaded 6MT for a long time but they are rare. I did not need a new truck but I check once in a while just to see if my dream truck ever pops up.

2019 TRD Sport Barcelona Red, Double Cab 5ft bed with Premium and Tech Packages, Bed Mat, All Weather Floor Mats, Rock Crawler Style Running Boards, 6 Speed Manual, Sunroof. I am in love.

MSRP was 40,8--. Got it for $37,800 + TTR. I cannot be happier.

    Wow!

I went in to my dealer in February and I wanted to look at the Off Road and the Pro. I test drove both. I really liked the both of them but the OR didn't have everything I wanted on it. I was secretly thinking that I'm going to get the Pro. I started asking about ordering a special OR to get what I wanted and the salesman said that the Pro had everything I wanted. I pointed out to him that it was sitting on the lot since October/November and already had 94 miles on it.

The sticker was 48k and with the Presidents day sale of $3000 off and some negotiating, I talked him down to 42k. I was comfortable with that.

Put the proceeds from selling my '01 Tacoma for down payment and I didn't do so bad.

Then I added the extended warranty and service. :spending:

Congratulations on your deal! How do you figure out how long a vehicle has been sitting on a dealer lot?

I looked at the sticker on the driver side door frame. Mfg in Oct. '18. I also had a tip from a friend who test drove my vehicle in December.

Also... If you really look at the stock on the interwebs…. You might also be able to tell how long a vehicle has been on the lot. That's a little more complicated.
