Not yet. But yes in the future. Was thinking dirty deeds industries 270cc 12 hole fuel injectors, DDI long tubes and full exhaust, then finally gears. Then saw this URD T-Stat when i was looking for o2 Sims and to compare headers.

270CC seems so small but then I remember no blower.

I'm not sure the stock size, but I know the DDI injectors for a non vvti 4.7 are 250cc and if you run ethanol they are 330cc
Plus its a small v8 so I guess smaller injectors

You know ethanol gets way worse gas mileage right? And you only really benefit from that when you’re boosted

The Bucces in Texas City is supposed to start supplying ethanol free gas when the finish the pump expansions project...goi go to be using that for the motorcycles and truck. Curious to see what the fuel economy difference will be.

I noticed a decent difference with it in Oklahoma. Power and mileage. I ran it for 3 months straight.

I gotcha. Just don’t get caught up in gimmicks.

It’s really hard to make more power with a NA engine without doing internal stuff or boost.

Tunes and exhaust and blah usually only gains 15-20hp on a NA unopened gasser.

I get it. Just don’t get all caught up in the talk.

Not trying to be a dick. But I see way too many people spend thousands to make 10 more hp on a gas engine when they could’ve just went supercharged or similar for the same cost after it’s all done.

the injectors are 300, the headers and exhaust is like 1700 iirc. Not sure about gears yet. The claims I see on DDI and Tundras.com is about 40hp. Part of me wants to do a port and polish as well. Putting an SC on the 4.7 can lead to blown motor. according to what I've read, the rods can't handle the power and that's why the TRD sc for the 4.7 was discontinued. However I've heard of people fabing up a plate to mount the SC on the vvti 4.7 and moving some components around the engine bay to fit the SC, then upgrading the rods and cams for crazy power. I won't be doing any of that lol.

I've also considered buying an older Lexus sedan with the 4.0 v8 or 4.3 v8 and modding it instead. But I don't want a fast car with an auto trans. Finding a manual Lexus is difficult. Especially in my price range.

It’s difficult cause the SC400 never ever came with a manual trans (except in Australia IIRC). You won’t find one in the states unless someone imported it.
