I have one of these and i absolutely love it. I never realized how much the camp fire experience can be enhanced by a rocking chair. To me it's totally worth the extra space it takes up in the bed of the a truck. the only problem I have with it is that I hardly ever get to sit in it because somebody else is always seat jacking it from me. Haha

That chair looks pretty thought out!

I personally dont like that style of folding chair because people usually use the arms to support their weight when sitting and standing. Over time they start to bend and eventually break. I try not to do it as much as possible but when there is drinking involved i can only do so much.

It is pretty comfortable and sturdy. As you say, I think they really thought it out. But, you are right, the arms are probably a weak spot. I think they are stronger than most of that style, though.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I've been happy with my alps chair. Very sturdy and comfy. I take it with any car camping style trip I do.

I go back and forth on the web backing. Sometimes I want it after a race so it breaths and helps me cool down, but in any colder temps protection from the wind is nice. I'm not against separate summer/winter chairs I guess...kinda like having a set of winter tires

revive. anyone have a recommendation for a chair with some real lumbar support and potentially a rocking ability? Ive sat in the cheap camp chairs long enough and been uncomfortable that I want to invest a little more in the comfort.
